Congratulations! Our very own Moe Tu’ipulotu graduates Master of Health Sciences
The end of 2019 marked a big milestone for Moe Tu’ipulotu, our Health Intelligence and Informatics Lead who joined the Alliance Health Plus family last August.
Having started her Master of Health Sciences in 2017, Moe, a Mum to two young children, graduated in November 2019 wearing her maternal great-grandmother’s ta’ovala and her paternal auntie’s master’s gown, surrounded by family, including members who flew in from Tonga.
Moe’s thesis ‘Overcoming barriers to data sharing in Primary Care – A qualitative mixed study of the Metro Auckland Data Sharing Programme for Diabetes and CVD’ was a comprehensive investigation into the one of the programmes assisting in the management of two diseases that impact our Pacific population so heavily.
Although it wasn’t easy to juggle her masters’ study with a full-time job, children and family commitments, Moe says that collecting the insights of Primary Care clinical leads across the Metro-Auckland region, was one of the things she enjoyed most.
Congratulations Moe on this huge achievement!
Talamonu atu Moe he lavame’a kafakafa kuo ke a’usia. Malo e ako!
